FREN 3048 Filmmaking in French: An Introductory Workshop

	This course introduces students to the basics of filmmaking with a focus on writing scripts. We will start with fresh materials brought by students and workshop students’ scripts as in a “writers’ room”. We will do some hands-on class where students will get an initiation to camera, lighting, sound recording and editing. We will watch selected clips and sample works, which will exemplify specific aspects of filmmaking.
