ENCW 4810 Advanced Fiction Writing I

	In this advanced writing course we will focus each week on reading works of imaginative literature and responding creatively with a focus on character, setting, and details. Students will also have the opportunity to workshop 1 longer story/novel excerpt. Instructor Permission is required for enrollment. Please request instructor permission through SIS and apply through email. APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS: writing sample of 3-5 pages with a cover sheet including name, year, email address, major, prior workshop experience, other workshops to which you are submitting, and 1 paragraph why you'd like to take this course. Submit application in a single document to mam5du@virginia.edu. For full consideration, email your application by December 15th.
