[July 1, 2020]: I am in the process of revising class assignments and the schedule, to take account of the fact that this class will be taught entirely online. If you aren't enrolled in the class yet, you will see extensive comments in the "Site Information Display" that comes up at the "Overview" tab of the COLLAB site for this course [top left side of the 20F HIEU 3802-001 page]. If you want to get inside the COLLAB Resources for this course and are unable to, I could temporarily add your email address to the Site Settings [remind me to remove your name later]. Revision is still in process as of this date. ////There is *very* heavy emphasis in the class on students’ own reading of the material. After students seriously attempt to grasp the reading (which is often difficult, but never impossible), the instructor explicates it in class. By the end of the semester, students will have a quite good idea what the central views articulated by Darwin et al. actually were. They will also be more skilled at reading complex texts. Students’ prior struggle is a prerequisite for understanding both readings and lectures.
