 In this class, we will read three Shakespeare plays carefully and look at two performances of each one. The performances will generally be films that you can view on your computer, but I will try to organize a field trip to the American Shakespeare Center in Staunton, VA to see one of the plays live. There will be two formal papers and a lot of less formal writing in and out of class twice.
