The pre-req for this course is CS 2150 with a C- or higher. This class will be a general introduction to cybersecurity. It will cover topics such as: cryptography, network security, vulnerabilities and exploits, forensics, ethics, privacy, etc. The intent is that this course will (eventually) be a pre-req for the other cybersecurity courses (Network Security, Defense Against the Dark Arts, etc.), and will thus not delve into those topics in as much detail. |
