We meet for class and opening reception at hotel in Washington DC on Monday Jan 5, 5 to 8pm, and then meet at Library of Congress and National Archives all day , 9 to 5pm Jan. 6-9. Closing session in DC hotel on Sat. Jan 10, 10 to 12:30. Final research reports due Mon. Jan 12. All students will pay a facilities and transport fee (likely $150-200). Students who don't live in DC area will pay hotel fee for 5 nights ($500-600). Email instructor, Elizabeth Thompson for class enrollment approval: eft3k@virginia.edu.
