(Please, do understand that it is not perspicuous in SIS how to set up a Waitlist: SIS was originally set up to manage employees in huge corporations -- it thus had nothing to do with students or instructors. So one has to reinvent the wheel everytime such an operation crops up.)
There will be lots of drops! It is almost guaranteed that if you are twentieth on the waitlist you will get into the course if you want in. So why not raise the MAX enrollment? Answer: because it's not allowed. |
