Comments What does it mean to prioritize equity in policy? Equity must be operationalized and incorporated into all stages of policy -- agenda setting, design, implementation, and evaluation. We will consider frameworks and tools for centering equity in policy design, including work to engage disadvantaged communities; evaluate the degree to which current policies across a range of domains promote equity, examining policy histories and differential impacts; and surface the apparent tradeoffs in elevating equity relative to other policy analytic concerns, and how these have been addressed.
