Description |
This course engages students in ideas from the fields of neuroscience, chemistry, biology, and psychology to understand on a chemical level how memory is stored and recalled in the human brain. Students will integrate theories and techniques from these fields to connect model systems and molecular reasoning to explain animal behavior and the lived experience of their own conscious, episodic memory.Prereqs are CHEM 2410 (Organic I) and BIO 2100 or BME 2104 (both are intro to Cell Biology and Genetics courses) |
