Class Subtitle Microhistory, Macrohistory, and the Historian's Craft
Description This course is designed to introduce students to questions of scale, connection, movement, and circulation in history writing. Over the course of the semester, we will think about the analytical and narrative choices we make as historians.but shifting scales between the micro and macro, we think about how to make the large scale past come to life.
