This is a very dynamic course that provides students with an opportunity to learn the fundamentals of our federal government, how federal policy is crafted and passed, and how political and societal influnces drove landmark social policies to become law. Students will also learn how to advocate for federal policies and the tools necessary to influence members of Congress.
