If you are strongly interested in the class, I suggest adding yourself to the wait list. The wait list is an always-moving target. Still, I expect that the INITIAL ten persons on the wait list (and possibly more) will in fact be able to enroll. Most days, I do check the max enrollment, and when the enrollment is under 60 I do authorize enrollment for a wait-listed person. I encourage students to buy books online--many are very inexpensive, even taking account of postage. I do not recommend relying solely on electronic texts, since this course requires a rather serious reading of texts. am
